Our proven, environmentally friendly, water-based HS9000 series thermolac is applied to the card. Once the product is added, the blister is directly bonded to one side of the card using heat and pressure. Blisters are usually made of PET or PVC, although they vary depending on the market.
A wide range of thermolac sealing machines are available to support the packaging process, from very simple to fully automated models. (Click here to view thermolac sealing machines.)
In many cases, customers are left to their own devices when problems occur with blister cards. For example, if the cards and blisters do not stick properly and separate after a while on the shelf, no one takes responsibility and the blame is always placed on others. Blister manufacturers continue to blame the printer, the printer blames the sealing agent, who blames someone else, who blames someone else. Some blister machine manufacturers even issue disclaimers, saying that they will not guarantee the functionality of the machines if the blisters and cards are not of good quality.
